The day's jobs on a phone

The supervisor assigns the day's jobs, and each technician sees their own in order on their phone: address, customer contact, fault description and photos. An "On my way" button messages the customer, and on arrival they press Start. When the job changes, the job switches with one tap and hours land on the right work.

Materials on the job without paper slips

The technician adds the materials used to the job on their phone. Hub's price comparison looks the item up across seven suppliers, shows the cheapest and adds the line at the right price. Wholesaler stock is logged the same way. Materials go onto the invoice as their own lines, and the supervisor sees before invoicing whether the margin holds.

A quote from photos

On bigger jobs — a bathroom re-pipe, a consumer unit replacement — the technician takes photos on site and asks Rax for a quote. Rax identifies the work, proposes the lines and fetches material prices. The supervisor checks and sends; the customer accepts from a link. The accepted quote becomes a job and the job becomes an invoice without retyping.

Extras approved before the invoice

The old valve was seized after all, and two had to be replaced. The technician logs the extra on site, the supervisor prices it and the customer approves on their phone. On the invoice the extra is its own line with the approval. That ends the "we never agreed this" conversation.

Documentation and warranty

Before-and-after photos, materials used and hours stay on the job. When the customer calls a year later about a warranty issue, the work is found in a second: what was done, who did it, with which parts. Checklists such as commissioning or test records are filled in on the phone and stored in the same place.

Invoice the same day

Once the job is signed off, the invoice can go out immediately: hours, materials and extras are already lines. The invoice goes as a PDF with a reference number and bank barcode, and a reminder goes automatically if the due date passes. Invoices export to accounting as CSV or Finvoice.

Does time logging work without signal in a basement?

Logging happens when the network is available; start and stop times can be corrected afterwards with the supervisor's approval.

Which suppliers are prices fetched from?

K-Rauta, Stark, Puuilo, Hammer, Motonet, Bauhaus and Taloon in Finland. Wholesaler prices are entered on the line manually.

Can the customer accept a quote on their phone?

Yes. The quote is sent as a link, and the customer accepts without logging in.

How do invoices reach accounting?

As a CSV export or Finvoice XML; a Fennoa integration is available.
