Quotes your clients approve online

A PDF quote in an email attachment gets lost, and the answer never comes. In Hub, the quote goes out as a link, the client approves it online with one click — and you see exactly where every quote stands.

From quote to deal without paperwork

Writing a quote should be fast, and approving one should be faster. In Hub you assemble a quote from line items in minutes — including optional lines the client can pick from — and send it straight from the system.

The client opens the link, sees a clean web page and approves with one click. The approval creates a project, and later an invoice, without retyping anything. If there's no reply, a follow-up reminder goes out automatically.

Why quotes are lost

Win rates in trades and service work are usually explained by price. The data rarely supports that. Four other causes are more common:

What a comparable quote contains

ElementWhy it matters
Scope, itemisedWhat is included — and explicitly what is not
Basis of priceFixed, unit rate or time and materials, stated per line
Materials and who supplies themThe most common source of later disagreement
ScheduleStart, duration and what would delay it
Variation mechanismHow extras are agreed and priced, before any arise
Validity periodMaterial prices move; a quote cannot be open-ended

Itemising does not expose your margin. It demonstrates that you know what the work involves, which is what the client is actually trying to establish.

Online acceptance changes the numbers

Every step between "yes" in someone's head and a recorded acceptance costs conversions. One button, timestamped, removes all of them — and the accepted quote becomes the job and then the invoice without anything being retyped. That last part matters as much as the win rate: a quote that has to be rebuilt as an invoice is a quote that gets billed late or slightly wrong.

Frequently asked questions

How does the client approve a quote?

They get a link by email, open the quote in their browser and press Approve. The approval is time-stamped and recorded — no paper involved.

Can I include optional extras?

Yes. Mark lines as optional and the client selects the ones they want before approving. The total updates with their choices automatically.

What if the client doesn't reply?

Hub sends a follow-up reminder automatically after a few days. You see every quote's status in one view: opened, approved, waiting.

Does an approved quote become an invoice?

Yes — the approved quote turns into a project and an invoice without retyping. The same data flows through the whole pipeline.

What does it cost?

Quoting is included in Raslak Hub: €69/month plus €22/month per additional user. The 14-day trial is free, no charge during the trial.

Why do we lose quotes we should have won?

Most often because the quote arrived late, was a single line and figure, did not match the scope asked about, or was awkward to accept. Price is blamed more often than it is the cause.

Does itemising a quote expose my margin?

No. It shows the client you understand the work, which is what they are trying to establish. A single figure forces them to compare on price because you have given them nothing else.

What is the benefit of online acceptance?

Every step between deciding and recording an acceptance costs conversions. One timestamped button removes them, and the accepted quote becomes the job and invoice without retyping.
